The Task Exposure Indexv2026.Q3

What can AI actually do in your job?

Not one day from now. Today. We take every task the US Department of Labor records for every occupation, score each one for what current AI systems can produce and what stands in the way, and publish the result task by task, re-scored every quarter so you can see what moved.

923 occupations, searchable by any of their reported job titles. Your search never leaves your browser.

    Analysis

    All pieces

    Most exposed

    Least exposed

    What the three numbers mean

    Exposed

Current AI systems can produce the work product, and little structural friction stands in the way.

    Assisted

They can produce it, but licensure, physical presence or the cost of checking the output keeps a person in the loop.

    Untouched

They cannot produce it at all, usually because the work means acting on the physical world.

The three shares always sum to 100% of an occupation’s weighted task load. How each one is calculated.
